Yurio Seki is a Japanese designer with a mellow and sparsely beautiful drawing and design style. Her portfolio includes a myriad of products from textile repeats, book design, art direction, apparel design (including some rather lovely patterned socks), CD covers, and packaging. This wonderful book 'Yurio Seki - Japanese Graphic Designer' documents Yurio's body of work, her home and workplace surrounds, and her travel inspiration. Every page is a visual delight!
Natalie, I am soon going to go bankrupt because I want to buy this book as well:-) Since we are moving house in a week, my book buying has been put on hold for the moment.
ReplyDeleteI can understand - I'm trying to save for a house deposit and I'm not doing very well.... I try to kid myself that books are tax deductible and necessary for creative inspiration. Yes really!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through Arya's blog and I'm so happy I did. It's so full of fun and beautiful finds. I will come back for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love birds that look like birds!
