Looks like a dress from the 1930's. Gorgeous colours!
The white dress with embroidery is nice. I purchsed a similar one for my daughter when visiting Mexico.Although she has outgrown it, I cannot bring myself to give it away - It's so pretty.
I can see why you wouldn't want to part with it - I would love to visit Mexico with an empty suitcase!
